The quality of Freecars products is being tried to equivalent to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts in:

Size / Weight / Materials / Processes / Appearance / Color

We have our own injection machine, high hydraulic machine and assemblyworkshop, and efficient technical team which control all the products fromshape design to internal optimization by excellent skill.

We’ve got the certificate from ISO/TS 16949: 2009 international quality certification system. We have strictly control on every step during production, evensome details from sheet metal to each screw. Every step of working procedureis monitoring and signed. Finished products have delivery inspection, andqualified products can be sent to customers.

All products are subject to several quality control at every stage of production.

Quality Control & Key Checks for Automotive Headlamp & Rear Lamp Production

  1. In-process quality control points
    • Monitor injection molding: control melt temperature, mold temperature to avoid shrinkage, bubbles and scratches on lens/housing.
    • Check reflector vacuum metallization to ensure uniform reflective coating without peeling.
    • Control assembly precision: properly position LED modules, light guides and harnesses; prevent misalignment.
    • Strictly manage sealing process (hot plate welding or gluing) to avoid water leakage and fogging inside lamp cavity.
  2. Key details to pay attention to
    • Keep workshop clean to prevent dust sticking on optical surfaces.
    • Protect lens surface from scratches during handling.
    • Avoid wrong wiring and loose connections of electronic components.
    • Control curing time of sealant to guarantee sealing reliability.
  3. Testing equipment for quality assurance
    • Photometric tester: test light distribution, brightness and light pattern.
    • Aging test bench: run long-time power-on test to check LED stability.
    • Waterproof & dustproof test chamber (IP test): verify IP rating.
    • Vibration & shock tester: simulate road vibration condition.
    • Thermal cycling chamber: test resistance to temperature change.
    • Air leak tester: detect sealing leakage.

Key Points & Quality Control

  1. Raw material check

Verify resin grade, drying time and moisture content. Moisture will cause silver streaks and bubbles on surface.

  1. Mold maintenance

Keep mold surface clean; regularly inspect gate, venting and polishing. Prevent scratches, sink marks and flash.

  1. Molding parameter control

Stably set melt temperature, injection speed, pressure and cooling time. Avoid warpage, shrinkage and surface defects.

  1. In-process monitoring

Check parts every few shots for burrs, discoloration and flow marks. Record machine parameters continuously.

  1. Surface protection

Handle molded parts carefully. Use clean gloves and soft trays to avoid fingerprints, scratches before painting.

  1. Dimensional inspection

Regularly measure key dimensions with gauges to ensure assembly tolerance meets automotive specs.

  1. Defect segregation

Separate non-conforming products clearly. Trace bad parts back to machine, material or mold root cause.

  1. Environment control

Keep workshop dust-controlled, especially for Class A automotive exterior surfaces.

Quality Control & Key Points for Truck SMC Exterior Parts

  1. Compression molding process control

Control mold temperature, pressing pressure and curing time precisely. Apply release agent evenly on clean molds. Correctly cut and place SMC sheets to avoid bubbles, poor curing and part deformation.

  1. Demolding and trimming requirements

Demold carefully to prevent surface chipping. Trim excess flash smoothly. Check edge quality and surface cracks after trimming.

  1. Surface preparation before painting

Grind and clean parts thoroughly to remove dust and grease. Ensure no pinholes or scratches on the A-class surface before coating. Keep the painting booth clean.

  1. Painting quality control

Control primer and topcoat thickness. Inspect color consistency, paint adhesion, orange peel and pinholes. Avoid dust contamination on painted surfaces.

  1. Final inspection & packaging

Check dimensions, appearance and coating defects. Cover finished parts with protective films. Pack carefully to prevent scratches and damage during transportation.
