Aluminum alloy is preferred for light weight, good corrosion resistance and long service life; carbon steel has low cost but needs reliable anti-corrosion coating; multi-layer plastic performs well in anti-rust and impact resistance.
Check material thickness, chemical composition and surface defects. Use thickness gauge and optical spectrometer to verify material compliance.
Control stamping pressure and blank positioning. Inspect dimensions, cracks and wrinkles with calipers and 3D coordinate measuring machine.
Stabilize welding parameters and seam fit-up. Use visual inspection, weld seam detector and air leak tester to eliminate weld pores and leakage risks.
Remove oil, rust and welding spatter thoroughly. Use coating thickness gauge and adhesion tester to monitor coating quality, prevent peeling and pinholes.
Check brackets, fuel inlet, outlet and threaded fittings. Confirm assembly dimensions and tightness of all connections.
Conduct air tightness test, hydraulic pressure test, vibration fatigue test and drop test on dedicated test benches.
Check surface scratches, dents and coating defects. Apply protective packaging to avoid damage in transit.
